About Us - Emma Jansen
Creative Background
Emma Jansen is a very experienced art tutor with a great passion for children’s art and creativity. She graduated from A.U.T with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, photography major, in 1997. Emma has since divided her time between raising a family, teaching children’s art classes and establishing her photography business ‘Emmy Jay Photography’.
Teaching Philosophy
Emma believes that there is magic in the creative process and that children should be exposed to as many different mediums and art experiences as possible. As a result her classes are lively, busy, fun and experimental, encouraging each child to find their own style and method of self expression through their work. To view her own form of artistic magic see her photography website www.emmyjay.co.nz.
