Facilities

Amongst its facilities, the Centre has a large gallery space, three studios for classes, a resource room/gallery, café, printmaking press, pottery and sculpture studio, and kiln. The café is available during opening hours for light refreshments. Groups can be catered for by prior arrangement.
School groups and touring parties are welcome to visit the gallery during opening hours. Please phone ahead to avoid any clashes with other groups.

Centre Hours:

Monday - Saturday 9:30am - 4:00pm
The Centre is closed on public holidays and over the Christmas / New Year period, Easter, Labour and Queen's Birthday weekends. Admission to the Gallery is free.

How do I get there?

The Mairangi Arts Centre is located at 20 Hastings Rd, Mairangi Bay, North Shore City. Don’t worry, we’re really easy to find! Mairangi Bay is only a hop, skip and a jump from Central Auckland…..

Take the Northern Motorway, and drive until you go past the Wairau industrial area (Tristram Ave exit). The next exit is Upper Harbour Highway. Leave the motorway here and turn right at the traffic lights. This will take you underneath the motorway and along Constellation Drive. Keep going until you reach the last set of lights. You will be at a ‘T’ junction where Constellation Drive meets East Coast Rd. Turn left onto East Coast Rd and drive until you reach the next set of traffic lights. Hastings Rd is on the right. Turn right through lights and down Hastings Rd. We are at the bottom of the hill, number 20, right hand side. And yes, there is plenty of parking!
