Weekly Classes

Children and young adults enjoy the choice of a variety of Saturday and after school weekly classes. Each class is designed for a specific age band and focuses on a developing a broad range of skills. Class prices stated are an ‘all-up’ cost and include all materials used as well as tuition. All prices are GST inclusive.

Birthday Parties

Birthday art classes in painting, drawing, craft or clay are available for children and young adults. We personalise the class by allowing your child to choose whatever theme interests them. The class will be held on a date and time of your choosing, subject to availability of studio space.

Painting, drawing, craft or clay classes

Duration: 11/2 hours
Cost: $100 basic charge + $12 per child, minimum of six children (ie $172 basic cost), max. twelve children aged 5-12 or max. fifteen young adults aged 12-16

School Holiday Programmes

Mairangi Art Centre offers a fun range of childrens classes during the school holidays. Our holiday programmes offer painting, drawing, clay, photography, printmaking, sculpture, cooking and more. Sessions are either 2 hours (10am - midday or 1 pm - 3pm) or 5 hours long (10am - 3pm). Book online, by phone or drop into the centre.
