H12:The Animal I Love with June Katz
At this workshop the kids will learn how to draw and paint their favourite animal. A pet or a wild animal. We will find the unique style of each child, a cartoon, drawing, expressionist style with colours etc. Then children will paint the image with their favourite colours.

H1: Dinosaurs and Lizards with Teresa Watson
Triceratops, tuataras, tyrannosaurus, armored dinosaurs to plated dinosaurs. Giant hunters or our own smaller hunter Bring along a picture or toy of thehunter you want to make so you can make one out of clay. Once it is made you will then be able to colour your hunter with the under glazes the centre has.

H4: Wild Animals with Teresa Watson
Bears, tigers, lions elephants, or any other favourite wild animal. Which will you choose? Once it is made you will be able to colour your animal any colour you wish. Once it is painted it will stay at the centre to dry, and your tutor will put it in the kiln to fire, then in again for a shiny glaze ready for pick up.

H5: Life Size Portraits in Dazzling Colours with Estel Slabbert
Have fun creating a self portrait wearing any clothes or costume you would like to wear. Drawing and painting techniques will be taught in a fun way.

H7: Birds, Birds, Birds with Teresa Watson
Wild or domesticated, you choose. Penguins, cockatiels budges or fantails. Come make one in clay. When they have been fired your bird can go out side in the garden or inside on your shelf. Come fly to the centre to create your bird.

H8: Funky Found Objects with Cath O'Brien
During this fun workshop we will make unique and funky sculptures from all sorts of interesting found objects like bottles, driftwood, clothes, containers, wool, wire etc. Bring along anything you have found as well. Art making with low environmental impact reusing resources!

H10: Superstars for a day with Cath O'Brien
Pretend you are the star of your very own movie! Come dressed up as your favourite star or as if you are famous or you can use costumes and props from the dress up box. Face painting available as well.In the morning we will have an Andy Warhol/ pop art style photo shoot write a short blurb about your movie then design and colour a large poster for the movie. Be a famous movie star for the day!

H11: Have a Go on the Wheel with Teresa Watson
Come join a group of 8 of us as we have a go on the potters wheel. You will be able to make a vessel and colour it all in one morning. Make sure that you are 7 and over, so you can reach the pedals.

H6: Fun Clay - Flying Dragon with Marina Chao
No oven! No paint! Bright colors! Kids bring their works home and keep them long. Kids use their hands to handle different tools and learn the crafting techniques. It’s a good way for kids to build and develop better sense, shaping and creating textures Please bring $10 material fee to the class.

H21: Fun Clay - Fun in Strawberry Season with Marina Chao
Using clay to make your own and unique strawberry box!. Kids use different tools and learn crafting techniques. A great way for kids develop shaping and texture making skills. Please bring $17 material fee on the day of the class.

H14: Amazing Maps with Estel Slabbert
Using our imagination you will draw a map leading from your house to all the fun places you like. This will end up as an artwork with lots of detail drawings done comic book style and with lots of color. If you want you could bring a copy of a map to help with names.

H15:: Marshmallows Mugs with Teresa Watson
A mug to drink your hot chocolate in. Add the marshmallows as an extra treat. The mug will be made by hand and the handle will be extruded from the extruder at the centre. Once you have made your mug you will have time to add clay shapes and then colour your mug with under glazes. Your mug once fired will be able to be put in the dishwasher or microwave.

H16: Tissue Paper Paintings with Estel Slabbert
 Members Using thin layers of tissue paper, plain and patterned we will create landscapes or a still life. We will draw and paint on the layers to create a stunning piece of art.

H18: Hugable Animal Cushion with Estel Slabbert
Create something to hug in winter. Draw and paint your favorite animal like teddy bear, cat dog etc. on a provided cushiun cover. lots of fun.

H19: Butterflies and Hearts with Teresa Watson
Using pieces of clay you will be able to make your own designed butterfly. Using slip each piece will be joined together so it does not fall of. The hearts will be created by using a slab roller and cutting out the heart shape you have made. Each piece will have a grove at the back so it can hang on the wall. The centre has many colours to choose from to colour your own designer butterflies and hearts.

H20: Nikau Tree Animal Masks with Cath O'Brien
 In this workshop we will use the large fronds of the Nikau tree found in the NZ bush to make large lifelike animal masks to hang on the wall. This class is lots of fun. Using plentiful resources from the NZ bush, you will be doing your bit for the environment as well!
