The Power of Paper

Inside Out exhibition features artworks created by prisoners in Paremoremo and Ngawha prisons through the Art in Prisons Programme. Beautiful carved waka, intricate, detailed paintings, patu and interesting sculptures expressing the Maori culture combine in an exciting visual experience.

Island Time

An Exhibition celebrating the energy and skills of the Pacific's artisans. Festival features art from the Pacific Artisans and handcraft artisans, includes all types of painting, jewellery, clothing, quilts, tapa cloth, bags and carving. Enjoy live entertainment and great food at the opening. There are ongoing workshops and demonstrations throughout the exhibition. 19th February - 9th March Gallery open daily (including Sunday) from 9.30 - 4pm.
