Anne
is based on the North Shore of Auckland. Art in some form has always been
a passion with her and she is a multi-faceted artist who works with a diverse
range of subject, style, medium and technique. Travel has taken her to many
off-beat areas including Morocco, China, Turkey, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru and
Asia. Anne has been stimulated and inspired by the colours and vibrancy
of the people and their surroundings in these exotic lands.
Anna has been awarded recognition at the Royal Easter Show and gained commissions
from exhibited works She regularly exhibits at the Mairangi Arts Centre
and galleries in Auckland and other centres Over a period she has been commissioned
to design and execute large fabric banners for schools and Rotary Clubs
and more recently, has completed a fabric art hanging depicting flora and
fauna of New Zealand.
After a lifetime of tutoring both children and adults in a wide range of
subjects including pottery, art and designing theatre stage sets, make-up
and costumes, she is now able to devote a major part of her life to full
time painting.
