N.Zer GAIL BOYLE (Pre. Dip. Fine Arts, P.A.N.Z)has been following her passion of painting & tutoring for many years. Working with a variety of mediums & styles, her inspiration is drawn from her inner spirit, local surroundings & frequent travel around her own country, resulting in her work being permeated with her deep love of all life, colour, form & texture. Traveling throughout Europe has also had a profound impact upon her art - feeding & shaping its evolution. Her works exuding light & colour, reflecting these experiences.
Since her painting career began, she has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious N.Z. Royal Easter Show K.G.Fraser Award & Gold Medal Awards. Gail's work has been reproduced for the International market & has also been featured in the 'International Artist' & 'International Pastel Artist' magazines & books.
A working member of the Mairangi Arts Centre, The N.Z. Fellowship of Artists, The Pastel Association of N.Z., The NZ Art Guild, & Artworx, Gail is invited to Tutor in both Pastels & Oils for Art Groups throughout NZ. & overseas. Her works are exhibited throughout NZ in group & selected exhibitions & also at her home in Browns Bay, Auckland, where she has her own Studio & Gallery. Her works sell well locally & Internationally where they are held in private, corporate & governmental collections.
