Tipua (New Growth): The Lake House Arts Sculpture Roadshow 2022

Mairangi Arts Centre is proud to present  Tipua (New Growth): The Lake House Arts Sculpture Road Show 2022.

With funding support from the Auckland Regional Arts Fund, Tipua (New Growth) is delivered by Lake  House Arts in collaboration with arts, education, community and business organisations from across the Auckland Region.
Tipua exhibits award winning whakairo (carving) and mixed media sculpture indoors created in 2021 as a part of the 2021 Sculpture Symposium and Matariki exhibition.  The exhibition is combined with free carving and "Toi Tipua - New Growth through Arts" workshops and demonstrations lead by Lake House Arts Toi Whakairo, Natanahira Pona. The exhibition will feature 20+ large and small whakairo works.  In different location the works will be presented in indoor and outdoor locations and both the exhibitions and workshop/demo activities will be free to the public.
