Chloe Lam is an artist who recently moved to Auckland. Besides her bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication (Graphic Design), she is also a holder of a master’s degree in Art and Education from Birmingham City University. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Visual Art at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
As an art educator, I am constantly looking for ways to improve my art knowledge and pedagogical skills. I set an example by continuing to be a student of Art, of teaching, and of learning.
I let my students tap into their own inner creativity, with some guidance for the direction they should go in, to produce unique and personal artwork.I view myself as one of exposing, stimulating and nurturing my students’ own mental elaborations of knowledge by helping them grow in their capacity to guide their own creative thinking and make a positive contribution to the community.
